Background
My name is Zach Wiesner. I began my post high school education studying engineering and computer science at Penn State from 2019 to 2021. Wanting a more smaller school, I transfered to Delaware County Community College where I completed an associate's degree in graphic design and fine arts. I am about to achieve my bachelor's degree in web design at the University of Maryland Global Campus. My educational journey has always been a roller coaster, but after discovering that my true passion is web design, I can see that the longer path to get to where I am was worth it.
Personal
I turned 24 this past January and currently live in Thornton, PA. My family includes my mom, dad, my sister Kaitlyn, and our dog Charlie. Kaitlyn got married last November to my brother-in-law Ryan—though I’ve thought of him as a brother since day one. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, building websites or working on design projects, coaching youth football, playing sports, and listening to music. I’ve worked a few part-time jobs throughout school and take pride in being a hard worker who always strives to do my best.
Plans For Future
After I finish my bachelor’s degree, I plan to start looking for web design jobs. I’ll be focusing on both the Philadelphia and the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I visited a good friend in Dallas recently, and it really got me interested in moving there for work. If the right job comes along, I can definitely see myself making the move.
